Book Giveaway (The Rise And Fall of Mt. Majestic)

100 in 2016I am slowly but surely making it through 100 books. Thanks for joining me on this journey. Hopefully, you have jumped in somewhere along the way. You don’t have to set your goal for 100, but I would encourage you to set a goal. If you know where you want to go, it is much easier to get there if you have goals.

I am definitely reading faster than I am posting. To this point, I have read 23 books (That’s almost a quarter of the way there in two months). But that is sure to slow down as I get into some lengthier books.

Book number ten will be posted on Monday morning.  In honor of that and in effort to promote reading aloud with your family and reading in general, we will be giving away The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic by Jennifer Trafton.

Mount MajesticThis is an excellent book to read aloud. The characters are colorful and the dialogue is suitable for making up a wide variety of voices. Instead of sitting down to watch television as a family, read this book aloud. Enjoy hours of fun with Persimmony Smudge, Worvil the Worrier, King Lucas the Loftier, Guafnoggle, Theodore the Potter, and many more lovable characters.

The reading level on the back says for 8-12 year olds. That is a great place to begin, but a little bird told me that it was good for 4 year olds to 104 year olds. Why not take you entire family on this is a great adventure? All you have to do to enter is share this post on Facebook or twitter, and fill out the form below. The contest will run today, Thursday February 19, through Monday, February 22. Winners will be announced on Tuesday February 23.
